A few months ago, I scored a great flight deal to visit Colorado (one of the top destinations my husband and I wanted to visit). I spent hours upon hours planning our itinerary and the more I researched, the more blown away I was by how much there was to see. The trip is now a week away, and I am so pumped to experience all of Colorado's glory.
Some things on our itinerary:
- exploring the Rockies and other beautiful mountains/parks
- star gazing in an official "dark sky certified" spot
- snow shoeing followed by relaxing at the world's largest hot spring
- driving through all the scenery and just soaking it in
Since we'll be flying in from Atlanta, I'm already mentally preparing myself for true winter temperatures. Even though I lived in Boston for 4 years, I already know my southern skin will be shocked by how cold it is.
