had the dreamiest shoot with friends last night. channeling spring despite the cold temps ✨
Loved collaborating with @helloannaoh on this earring display - her illustrations are so dreamy 😍
It has been serious hustle mode over here with 4 pop ups 4 weekends in a row with wholesale/consignment/online orders in between but I am feeling oh so blessed to continue working with my hands and being able to connect with old/new friends through my work. I’m rapidly finishing product photo edits to do a huge Etsy restock tomorrow at 1pm EST. It is looong overdue but I hope you love what I’ve been working on! See you then 💕
Thank you thank you thank you to everyone who came out and supported local @horseshoemarket! Slightly sleep deprived and delirious from late night making all week but so happy to send off a lot of my creations to new homes. ❤️ I have one more pop up for the month this Saturday @sundaysupply from 12-4pm if you want to come say hi in Fort Collins! Then it’ll be major updating/restock time on Etsy!! 🌸🌿 Thank you for all the DMs, comments, and encouragement as I continue navigating this journey as an entrepreneur/maker. It doesn’t take much but it means the world to me! Signing off with lots + lots of love 💕
Not quite ready to streamline and do collections (still in play/experimenting mode) but if I did, I would call this the “Tropicalia” collection 🌿 Catch these and many more styles this weekend @horseshoemarket!
Had a blast @thebigwonderful this past weekend - loved getting to hang out and meet new people, especially vendor friends!! ✨
If you’re in Denver, I’ll be doing another market this weekend at the Broncos stadium! Come see me @horseshoemarket from 10am-4pm both Saturday + Sunday 🔆
p.s. how amazing are these handmade macrame earrings by @likewoahandmade?!! So fun and light! 💛 have a great week y’all!!
wowza what a great first day @thebigwonderful! forever grateful to have opportunities like this where I can connect with others through the love of local community + handmade products. thanks for coming through Denver! can’t wait to see y’all again tomorrow 12-6pm! ✨
The ASTRID earrings are restocked with more colors added! All the marble styles are one offs so snag them while you can! I’ll slowly be adding more styles in between crazy production for upcoming markets. Also just launched a new sale for Mother’s Day 🌸 All clay earrings are automatically 20% off! Valid until 5/12.
...It was all a dream! ✨ Wow, feeling so encouraged, affirmed, and overwhelmed from today’s debut of my clay jewelry @shopshea. I told her I would’ve been happy selling one piece 😂 It was amazing getting feedback and love from complete strangers and seeing them walk out the door putting them right on! As a maker, I can never tell if what I design will connect with someone else so it was an amazing experience to see people gravitate towards different pieces!
So so sooo excited for the rest of spring market season. Catch me @thebigwonderful next weekend and @horseshoemarket for Mother’s Day weekend! I have a few more lined up for the year that I’ll be announcing closer to the dates 💕Check my bio for more pop up details! And I’ll be working on getting more pieces up on Etsy but always feel free to DM me for pieces you love!! 🖤🖤🖤
I just finished re-reading Big Magic by @elizabeth_gilbert_writer yesterday and OMG talk about perfect timing. I pretty much wanted to highlight, dog ear, and underline the whole book. I really appreciated how she dispelled so many myths about creativity (specifically creative suffering), passion, and originality, to name a few.
To be honest, I struggled as a creative the past two years or so keeping up with the ever changing landscape of fashion and social media, going through a dry creative spell, and investing most of my energy working for other people instead of myself. It was a really hard season that I would love to open up about and share one day, but now that I'm on the other side, I realize how necessary it was. I had to go through it in order to know how much creating and making actually means to me, and how that was the main thing to get me out of my creative rut instead of trying to chase inspiration (which was how I ended up playing with polymer clay because I just wanted to make SOMETHING). I've been talking with several people recently how I truly feel my purpose in life is to create + share, whatever medium it is. And after finishing Big Magic, it only confirmed what I've been feeling. Taking the creative path isn't easy or glamorous by any means, but it brings me, my SOUL, alive. I'm so happy to have a different and healthier perspective on creativity and pursue this again with more curiosity and courage. I'll be sharing more thoughts on where FCS will go from here, especially about the rebrand that I'm working really hard towards! Thank you thank you thank you for reading this far and for letting me share a little piece of myself with you. ❤️❤️❤️ P.S. Don't forget today is the last day to snag clay earrings for 30% off using "INTROSALE"! So grateful for you! ✨
